The B.A.B.Ed. integrated programme is a 4 year programme that combines the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.) degree together in integrated mode, recognized and approved by NCTE (New Delhi), Affiliated with Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.
This programme is designed to educate the students with teacher-training in a chosen academic discipline such as Hindi, English, History, Home Science, Political Science, Psychology, Economics etc. in the field of education.
This integrated programme aims to equip students with both of the pedagogy subjects matter knowledge in arts and necessary pedagogical skills to become perfect and professional teachers. It streamlines the process of obtaining both degrees allowing students to complete them simultaneously in 4 years instead of the professional five years.
This programme designed by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi).

Eligibility :

1. Students need to have completed their (10+2) intermediate or Senior Secondary education or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
2. A Minimum of 50% marks in (10+2) or equivalent is required for Gen/OBC category and a 5% relaxation is applied for other categories students as per norms of Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut/Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.
3. Students from any stream may apply.

Duration

This is a 4 years full time degree programme and time frame saving one year compared to pursuing them separately B.Ed. programme.

Admission for B.A.B.Ed.are made through Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut guidelines.

Fees :

As per norms of Ch. CharanSingh University, Meerut.

Career Opportunities

● Candidates are eligible to appear in CTET/TET conducted by Central/State Govt.
● Candidates are eligible to apply for a teaching job at secondary/upper primary school level teaching.
● Candidates are also eligible to pursue M.Ed./M.A./any other professional programme like MBA etc.
