B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)

B.Ed. is a two years full-time regular under graduate teacher-trainingprogramme approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) New Delhi and affiliated withChaudharyCharan Singh University, Meerut (U.P.).
The B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is a professional degree in India that prepares individuals as a skilled and trained teacher for career in teaching profession.
It is an undergraduate program that focuses on developing the knowledge, teaching skills and comprehensive understanding necessary to become effective educators, assessor particularly for secondary and senior secondary school levels.

Eligibility :

1. Candidate must have passed in graduation/post-graduation or equivalent degree form a recognized university/institution with 50% marks for GEN/OBC candidates and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/physically handicapped candidates as per ChaudharyCharan Singh University, Meerut/U.P. State Govt. norms.
2. Students from any stream can apply.

Duration :

The B.Ed. programme is a two years under graduate teacher-training degree programmerunning in annual mode as per norms of ChaudharyCharan Singh University, Meerut/NCTE New Delhi.

Mode of Admission :

● U.P.B.Ed. JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a common gateway for B.Ed. admissions.
● Students must have appeared in U.P.B.Ed. JEE organized by a deputed agency by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in this concern after that through counseling process admission may be confirmed.

Fees :

As per norms of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut or U.P.State Govt.

Scholarship:

College offers scholarship for deserving candidates up to 100% of tuition fees as per rules of college management committee.

Career Opportunities:

B.Ed. graduates are eligible to appear in CTET/TET conducted by Central/State Govt. Further he/she is also eligible to work as teacher in a secondary or senior secondary school
