D.El.Ed (BTC)

According to the Govt. of U.P. the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is a two year full time regular diploma programme designed to train-teachers for primary and upper primary school level.
The program is focused on equipping aspiring teachers with the necessary teaching & professional skills and comprehensive knowledge to educate younger children. As per guidelines of NEP 2020 & NCTE criteria for appointment of teacher the only D.El.Ed./ B.El.Ed. certificate holders are eligible to appoint in elementary school to teach class 1 to 8 students. 

Eligibility :

● Candidate who have completed their graduation in any stream or its equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum aggrate of 50% can apply for admission.
● Candidates of the reserved and physically hands capped category get a relaxation of 5% as per State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Duration :

Two years bifurcated in four semesters.

Mode of Admission :

Through the guidelines and registration on portal of SCERT Lucknow&ParikshaNiyamakPradhikaran U.P. merit based.

Age :

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit should not be more than 35  years. 5% relaxation for reserved candidates as SC/ST/OBC etc.

Fees :

As per norms of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh/SCERT/PNP.

Scholarship :

College provides scholarship for deserving candidates upto 100% of tution fees as per rules of management committee.

Career Opportunities :

After getting D.El.Ed. certificate the candidates are eligible to teach in elementary schools and can pursue higher education like B.Ed./M.Ed.
